Family photo -

We were up north last month having a picnic at Black Canyon Lake, and as you can tell it was a trifle bit cold (I think the high was in the 50's and the low was i the 30's). That's cold! The lake is up between Payson and Show Low in Arizona. It is such a pretty lake and it was a good day.

My favorite Mendez family photo

It's all cleaned up and ready to sell

I wanted to share this photo of our toy hauler now that it's clean. When we brought the trailer home this time, we decided to put it up for sell so that we can buy something permanent to put on our property in Overgaard, AZ.  Of course, I had no idea how much "stuff" I had stuffed into this trailer. And now that it's clean, look at all the room it has.

Mom and Deputy Barney Fife

So I thought I would share with you what my mother has been up to lately.  Yes, that’s her with Deputy Barney Fife getting not one but two tickets.  Deputy Fife originally stopped her for speeding, however, she tried to bribe her way of the ticket and he gave her one for bribing a police officer.  Hmmm… (This was taken at the Western Festival that we all went to last month.)

Perla's mug shot?

Found this picture on a clipart website and thought it so appropriate for Gma and Gpa’s dog, Perla, because it looks just like her and Perla is guilty of the same crime. Do you think it’s Perla and Gma and Gpa have been living with a felon all this time? Watch out Perla, now that your photo has been released, we now know your criminal past.

Tiffany making cards in the cold evening air in Overgaard, AZ

I almost forgot. Tiffany, Geraldine and I sat next to the fire the first night we were in Overgaard and made cards with my Cricut machine. Tiffany was showing Geraldine and I her amazing skills at making cards. She and Geraldine were making birthday cards for Gma and I was just playing around with a Christmas card.  Doesn't everyone bring card making stuff and their Cricut machine with them when they go camping?
