Practicing to be great-grandparents...

Did I mention that my niece Tiffany and her husband Daniel are expecting their first child?  I'm gonna be a great-aunt!  Anyway, they were over at Gma and Gpa's house with the two little boys that Daniel watches, and it gave Gma and Gpa a chance to practice being great-grandparents.  Here are two photos that Tiffany posted on her blog showing Gma and Gpa in their practice modes...

Thanksgiving at the Mendez house 2010

Just got the best news in the whole wide world. No we didn't win the lottery (that would have been nice) but this is even better! I'm going to be a Great Aunt and Paul is going to be a Great Uncle.  My niece, Tiffany and her husband Daniel are expecting their first child in July 2011.  This was the start of a wonderful Thanksgiving gathering and dinner at their house today.

Tiffany and Daniel out did themselves again this year, with a wonderful turkey and all the side dishes.  There were 12 of us sitting to eat and there were still some left overs for them to snack on later.
